Eternal Sonata...is one of the games I almost completed recently. It
is a game based on the world of music, all its' characters and places are named after the library of music. The sound and voices inside Eternal Sonata are so wonderful that you will just immerse in it while playing. As for the storyline, it starts off with the last few hours of Frédéric Chopin (supposedly a world renowed composer and pianist that exists). In his last few hours on the bed, he was having a dream, inside the dream, he met a lot of new friends and discovered the meaning of life as he progressed with all his friends to stop the sinister Count Waltz that is producing a type of medicine called mineral powders that has severe side effect. Actually you might be surprised as u played the game because you would be wondering whether this is a story about Frederic or Allegretto. Err…or Polka. But it starts with Frederic and it ends with Frederic and there are a lot of twists and turns I assure you, :P. Though this game is actually being considered as the “shortest” JRPG because of the linear storyline and the small number of side quests. But a lot of things have been added since the game was announced that it would be coming to playstation 3 last year. To Xbox360 users…BOOOOO!!! But you all get Final Fantasy XIII…sigh…But quite some addition has been made to the playstation 3 version such as making Crescendo and Serenade playable, hehe, and some other stuffs too. I am almost at the end already…though there is a replay value, but I doubt that I want to restart the whole thing...maybe some other time. Names that I won’t forget, Tenuto…Ritartando…Polka…Salsa…March…Allegretto…and many many more…though this is er the best JRPG I have played so far for the playstation 3 system compared to Folklore (it is still a nice game btw).
